This whole voyage began in an unlikely port: the emergency room. Between the chaos and caffeine, a coworker introduced me to a beard care brand that hooked me with one incredible scent. Bold. Legendary. The kind that made you feel like you could command a ship with just a glare. But when I went back to reorder it—it was gone. Discontinued. Cast overboard without warning.

Turns out, this wasn’t a one-time squall. Again and again, I’d find a scent worth hoarding, only to discover it had vanished from the shelves. I wasn’t the only one cursed by the ghost of discontinued greatness—other beardsmen shared the same tale of cruel marketing tactics.

Meanwhile, my shelf was overflowing with half-used bottles and my wife, ever the voice of reason, gave me a knowing look and said, “Why don’t you just make your own? You’re a pharmacist. You mix things for a living.”

And so I did.

Combining my background in pharmaceutical science with a deep love for beard care, I began crafting high-quality oils, butters, liquid butters, and parfums with unforgettable scents that won’t vanish with the tide.
