I got this one as a mystery gift with my last custom. This one is fresh, clean, and strong. Like the smell after a heavy downpour of rain. If you like the outdoors scents make sure you get this one. You will not be disappointed

"Nectar of the Prick" completely surprised me.

Looking at the scent profile, I expected this one to fade quickly, but it actually settled into a quiet sweetness that lasted much longer than anticipated.

The opening is bright and refreshing with candied prickly pear, cactus water, and sparkling citrus mist. It's fruity, sweet, and genuinely unique. While those top notes fade fairly quickly, they're replaced by the pink guava nectar and desert bloom honey, which become the heart of the scent.

The real star for me is the base. The light skin musk takes center stage, balanced beautifully by the sweetness from the honey, guava, wild berry skin, and sugar crystals. As it develops, the desert air and ironwood add a subtle dry, woody character that gives the profile depth and keeps it from becoming overly sweet.

What impressed me most was the longevity. On paper, this seems like a scent that would disappear quickly, but I'd comfortably classify it as Medium-Light. Even later in the day, I was still catching plenty of what it had to offer.

Overall, I'm giving Nectar of the Prick an 8.4/10. It's a lighter scent that's perfect for the office, close quarters, or relaxing around the house. It may not be the strongest scent around, but it's loaded with character. Joseph created a fantastic profile, and as always, Mix Master Nick brought it to life beautifully. Don't skip this one.

Absolutely LOVE this one. The blackberry and tobacco comes out right away, then here comes the oud! Def a top scent!

Right from the bottle, the candied apple and Crown Apple whiskey jump out with a rich carnival sweetness that immediately brings to mind a freshly dipped caramel apple at a haunted midway. The sweetness is bold, but it never becomes overpowering.

As the scent settles into the beard, the salted caramel and praline take center stage, creating a warm dessert-like richness while the smoked oak and clove add just enough darkness to keep everything balanced. This is where Carm Hell Jack really shines—it walks the line between sweet and rugged better than most gourmand oils I’ve tried.

Several hours in, the leather, stainless steel, benzoin, and tonka bean emerge to create a surprisingly complex finish. The metallic edge and worn leather give the scent an almost sinister character, while the tonka and benzoin provide a smooth, creamy warmth that lingers throughout the day.

The overall experience feels exactly like its inspiration: a haunted pirate carnival filled with caramel apples, whiskey barrels, smoke, and chaos. It’s sweet, smoky, boozy, and just a little dangerous. If you’re a fan of dark gourmands and want something that stands apart from typical dessert scents, Carm Hell Jack is an absolute winner and one of the most creative releases in the Sweet-Toothed Savages lineup.

One of the BEST apple scents I have ever smelled.

I have been waiting for Rugged Beauty to release some hair oil and it was worth the wait! Tina has knocked this out the park! I live in Texas and I have tried so many different hair oils and creams to help with the frizz from the humidity. This oil by far is the best I have ever used!

It does not leave your hair greasy or weigh it down. It’s light and my hair just soaks it up so fast. I let my hair air dry and it leaves my hair smooth, soft, and no fly aways.

The smell is absolutely amazing!!! at first you get the coconut in about 30 seconds in you just get wrapped up in the warmth of the sandalwood. I use this every night in my hair and rub a little on my arms after I shower. It also leaves your hands and skin really soft.

I love this scent so much. I am hoping there will be a body butter and a perfume soon to follow!!!

Picked up the oil and solid butter for Gone Sailin’. As always with the RPBC, the medium weight oil and solid butter easily to break down butter is top level in beard.
The scent, I pick up an outdoorsy feel. The wet cedar and vetiver, along with the guaiacwood create an earthy and rugged feel. Along with the coffee, this feels like a perfect scent for camping, especially in those cooler morning seasons like spring and fall. Can’t wait to use this all up come Sept

Not overly dark, nor is it too fresh.
I have not gotten it in beard just yet, but off the first sniff and put it on my wrist, I pick up a fresh coastal, woody and hint of smoke in the background type of scent.
Easy to wear at night or during the warmer days.
Great carry over for both.

Glad I found this company. Great scent and makes your beard super soft. Love the liquid gold butter and the fact there’s matching colognes to the scents

This is my second time ordering from Rugged Pirate, and I'm certain it won't be my last. The beard oil and beard butter smell great and exactly how I imagined they would. My wife loves the smell, and when I use them, she is all over me for the rest of the day. I have tried many beard products over the years, and this is the first one I ever bought more than once.

While this scent picks up well as a year rounder, I believe this will be at its best come Sept for the autumn season.

The praline is not picked up as it tends to be too sweet for me. The dessert notes are mellow and do not force the overload of sweetness. Apple, oak and clove carry me home. Love this scent. Getting a second combo.

This one smels spicy nd sophisticated. It is a great duel purpose scent great for everyday use or for a night out or fancy occasion. Great scent.
