Woodsman's Wake completely surprised me. While it could easily be worn year-round, it feels especially refreshing during the summer. The eucalyptus, juniper berry, and ozone create a crisp, fresh-air scent that reminds me of standing in a sweet pine forest, while the lavender slowly emerges to add a wonderfully calming touch.

The sage, cedar, and musk form an incredibly smooth base that's clean, balanced, and never overpowering. Even as the scent settles, the brighter notes continue to peek through, keeping everything feeling fresh and relaxing.

Overall: 8.4/10. If you enjoy woody scents with a touch of sweetness and outstanding balance, Woodsman's Wake is absolutely worth adding to your collection.

Rugged Pirate consistently turns out strong, bold, long-lasting scents. Deadwood Tobacco adds another adjective… Smooth. This is one of the smoothest Rugged Pirate scents I’ve tried. A deep, rich, masculine tobacco cologne with suede and vanilla adding a wonderful smoothness on the back end. This is my favorite Rugged Pirate scent to date.

Fantastic. A profile like this isn't even remotely close to something I would buy but I took a chance on it because of a friend doing the artwork for it. I have to say, I wholeheartedly enjoy this one and it's only the second oil that my wife has liked in my collection as well.

This is amazing. I've been trying to find an oil that I could pair with my Acqui Di Gio Parfum (The darker & smokier one). The hunt is over. This is perfection in a bottle. That salty, lightly smokey, marine tobacco just paints an awesome picture. This needs to be a Mainline scent so it's always available. Get it now!

I’ve used other hair oils and this one is by far My favorite! I have a lot of hair but very fine, and this doesn’t weigh it down. But it helps with my frizz and makes my hair soft and shiny. My favorite part is the scent though! It smells so good. Definitely good for year round. Sophisticated and sexy. My husband loves it! It lasts so long too. I apply it in the musing and can still smell it at the end of the day. I hope more things release in this scent, because I need it all.

Love it. Refreshing, light but lasts. What I imagine rural Japan would smell like. Hours later still smelling fresh. The cherry blossom pops at first, then it just turns into an amazing fresh scent, my guess is the Hinoki & Yuzu coming through

I got this one as a mystery gift with my last custom. This one is fresh, clean, and strong. Like the smell after a heavy downpour of rain. If you like the outdoors scents make sure you get this one. You will not be disappointed

"Nectar of the Prick" completely surprised me.

Looking at the scent profile, I expected this one to fade quickly, but it actually settled into a quiet sweetness that lasted much longer than anticipated.

The opening is bright and refreshing with candied prickly pear, cactus water, and sparkling citrus mist. It's fruity, sweet, and genuinely unique. While those top notes fade fairly quickly, they're replaced by the pink guava nectar and desert bloom honey, which become the heart of the scent.

The real star for me is the base. The light skin musk takes center stage, balanced beautifully by the sweetness from the honey, guava, wild berry skin, and sugar crystals. As it develops, the desert air and ironwood add a subtle dry, woody character that gives the profile depth and keeps it from becoming overly sweet.

What impressed me most was the longevity. On paper, this seems like a scent that would disappear quickly, but I'd comfortably classify it as Medium-Light. Even later in the day, I was still catching plenty of what it had to offer.

Overall, I'm giving Nectar of the Prick an 8.4/10. It's a lighter scent that's perfect for the office, close quarters, or relaxing around the house. It may not be the strongest scent around, but it's loaded with character. Joseph created a fantastic profile, and as always, Mix Master Nick brought it to life beautifully. Don't skip this one.

Absolutely LOVE this one. The blackberry and tobacco comes out right away, then here comes the oud! Def a top scent!

Right from the bottle, the candied apple and Crown Apple whiskey jump out with a rich carnival sweetness that immediately brings to mind a freshly dipped caramel apple at a haunted midway. The sweetness is bold, but it never becomes overpowering.

As the scent settles into the beard, the salted caramel and praline take center stage, creating a warm dessert-like richness while the smoked oak and clove add just enough darkness to keep everything balanced. This is where Carm Hell Jack really shines—it walks the line between sweet and rugged better than most gourmand oils I’ve tried.

Several hours in, the leather, stainless steel, benzoin, and tonka bean emerge to create a surprisingly complex finish. The metallic edge and worn leather give the scent an almost sinister character, while the tonka and benzoin provide a smooth, creamy warmth that lingers throughout the day.

The overall experience feels exactly like its inspiration: a haunted pirate carnival filled with caramel apples, whiskey barrels, smoke, and chaos. It’s sweet, smoky, boozy, and just a little dangerous. If you’re a fan of dark gourmands and want something that stands apart from typical dessert scents, Carm Hell Jack is an absolute winner and one of the most creative releases in the Sweet-Toothed Savages lineup.
