TOP NOTES

• Cypress: A sharp, coniferous opening with a clean, resinous edge — the scent of graveyard trees and carved wood coffins. It cuts through the heaviness, adding structure and cold precision.
• Frankincense: Bright yet sacred — resin smoke curling through cathedral air. It lends a spiritual stillness, a ghostly calm before the descent into decay.

MIDDLE NOTES

• Vetiver: Dry, grassy, and root-laden — the scent of disturbed soil and old roots clinging to the earth. It forms the heart of Mortis, grounding the ethereal incense in something ancient and unclean.
• Moldy Leather: Decayed saddles and forgotten tomes — aged, cracked, and faintly fungal. This note drips with the realism of rot, giving Mortis its deathly authenticity and tactile depth.

BASE NOTES

• Dried Blood: Metallic, mineral, and faintly sweet — a hauntingly human undertone. It ties the scent to flesh and mortality, lingering like iron and old wounds in candlelight.
