- Zesty Grapefruit – Sharp and tangy with a slight bitterness, this note mimics the bite of a freshly poured IPA and brings the scent to life with effervescent energy.
- Sparkling Yuzu – A fizzy citrus pop that’s sweeter and more exotic than lemon, yuzu adds a playful, refreshing twist.
- Lemon – Clean, tart, and crisp – this note adds clarity and a bright citrus sparkle, like the first sip of a cold brew on a hot day.
Middle Notes – Coastal, Herbal, Refreshing
- Crisp Coastal Ale – The heart of the scent, this ale accord brings a slightly malty, hoppy aroma with herbal undertones that evoke a breezy beer garden by the ocean.
- Sea Salt – Light and mineral-rich, sea salt enhances the freshness of the citrus while grounding the ale with a coastal breeze vibe.
- Bergamot – A refined citrus with green, floral undertones, bergamot rounds out the midnotes with a cologne-like freshness that elevates the overall blend.
Base Notes – Warm, Resinous, Sun-Kissed
- Golden Beach Amber – A smooth, sun-warmed amber with hints of driftwood and dry resin, this note lingers on the skin like golden rays on coastal sand — warm, lightly sweet, and relaxing.

Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. (Maybe its the hops) For some reason, I just couldn't get into this one. But don't get it twisted, Rugged Pirate has products for everyone!
Great smelling scent. Had me wanting to reapply often. Will have to purchase again

🟡 Shandy Sandy
Scent Profile: Citrus IPA | Sunlit Tavern | Salt-Kissed Breeze
Review:
This one’s brewed for the bold — but not for the bottle. Shandy Sandy isn’t about the buzz; it’s about the breeze. It opens like a citrus-soaked coastline, where lemon zest and grapefruit peel catch the wind and carry you straight into a sunlit tavern with the doors flung open to the sea.
There’s a hoppy brightness here, like the ghost of an IPA — not poured, but conjured. It’s the scent of a pirate who’s high on the horizon, not the ale. Sober but stoned, green with salt and citrus, riding the ritual of the sea. You don’t drink this one — you wear it like a memory of summer, brewed up for the Krewe who chase the vibe, not the vice.
Final Verdict:
Shandy Sandy is a citrus ritual for the sober sailor. It’s tavern-light and Krewe-tight — a scent that sails without sinking into the drink.
Shandy Sandy is a citrus-forward IPA fantasy with a coastal twist and a warm amber finish. It’s the scent of sun-drenched sails, clinking tankards, and the kind of summer that never quite fades. Whether you’re layering it for a beachside bonfire or letting it ride solo on a hot Missouri afternoon, this one’s a toast to the bold.
Awesome scent and product
