As I mentioned in a previous review, I've converted to beard butters from balms. I'll take a soft, manageable, beard any day over a heavy beeswax texture. If you've never tried butter, you need to. As far as the scent goes, I really enjoy overboard. It's a great, summertime scent. Normally I'm not a huge bourbon fan but it works here. I love coconut and this definitely has it so I'm a happy camper!

Warmer scent rather than fruity and refreshing. If that’s up your alley, go for it!
The bourbon is very present along with the vanilla. The woodsy and fruity scents are much more a background note. I was hoping for a more fruit centric scent with the other notes lighter in the background. While this one isn’t my style but you very much may like it. This was my first Rugged Pirate scent and I have thoroughly enjoyed the others.
Really wishing I’d have tried this one sooner. It’s an excellent scent!
