I'm a huge fan of darker oils/butters and man does this deliver. All of these notes called out to me (unsure on the dried blood lol) when I saw them and I knew I had to have this. I love smoky vetiver and mixed with leather, cypress, and frankincense..wow! You all gotta try this! I say this a lot in Rugged Pirate reviews but as usual, this is a unique mix that I don't think you'll find anywhere else.

I took a shot on this one and it was enjoyable. I love the smell of rain and earthy scents and I don't think you could find one more mossy and wet smelling, in a good way! I love these custom scents. They're so unique. As usual, this butter is blended so well, it's really amazing.

Another custom butter I wanted to try and it was really great. For my nose the orange was just a tad too much but overall a great buy. I love smoke and charred scents in colognes and butters. I only got to wear it once as a coworker smelled it and loved it so much he bought it off of me haha! Very unique scent and one I need to buy again.

This has a great cherry scent. I love the smokiness to it. Just reading the notes and you'll know exactly what your getting into. Personally I feel a bit of leather would have taken this to the final level which I'll add when I wear it. As usual the butter texture is on point.

I really don't know where to start on this one other than it smells great! A spicy tobacco and rum with some Jasmine and faint cherry/citrus peaking out. Very well blended. So much so, I'm contemplating getting a cologne made of the scent. It's unique and I think everyone in the Krewe should try it out.

I've never had root beer in my beard so this was a first. I will say I was pleasantly surprised with the scent. Root beer with leather works very well together. Personally I'll stick to drinking root beer but if you love it and like the thought of adding some leather to make it masculine, look no further!

First of all it's actually an oil and not some watered down substance like most, secondly it starts strong but settles down to a nice aroma, thirdly it smells great and lasts for hours. It smells like a donut stand at a fall festival. I will definitely be buying more from this company.

Ciderhook🔥. Out of the bottle is very sweet. But when u put in beaed. It opens up soo much. U get all the scent in them. Definitely recommend this one.

'll say it again, I was late to the party with Rugged Pirate, but happy to be finding my way amidst the Krewe! The blend gives an excellent feel in beard, and the scents come ready for the long voyage and tend toward the stronger side. Nick strikes me as having a penchant for some serious scent profile complexity, and Squiffy Planks is definitely that! Out of bottle is cool, dark and delicious blackberry (a favorite) and black currant, soon warming with the introduction of absinthe (yeah, he did!) and a boozy snap of smooth rum. The finish is a sweet, long lasting and pleasurable melding of delectable, caramelized sugar, vanilla bean, and tonka bean! Totally indulgent, and for hours!

The dark patchouli is unlike the typical head shop scent you may assume. This combines with the musk for a nice cologne-esque aroma. The rum adds that slight sweetness required for balance. The other notes contribute for a stronger full bodied aroma. My wife approves!

Absolutely one of my favorite scents. I really like the smell of Nautical Noel.

Sword of the seas smells great. Everything I’ve tried so far lasts all day too. I got the smaller bottle to try this out. It’s so good. Once I run out and use up some of my others, I’ll definitely be getting the 1 oz bottle of this one.

Mystery scents are such a great idea and they NEVER disappoint! This time I got Year One and it is such a great Rum Cake scent with a deep amber base!

I wasn't sure if I'd like Halloween Dummies but Shawn creates some awesome stuff so I figured I should at least try it. Well I am glad I did. It is a great scent! Definitely a Halloween scent of the candy variety!!! Nice and strong too!
